Other Event Information
This is a TWO DAY EVENT. July 26 and 27 Event schedule:
4:00PM. The turkey runners head out for a fun 10 mile loop consisting almost entirely of fast, fun trails. The woods will be cleared at about 6:30PM. Note: It is possible for a rider with either two bikes or just a dualsport to do both afternoon rides. 6:30PM to 8:30PM. Steak fry
Sunday: 7:00AM., signup, tech inspection w/sound test, breakfast
Course details:
Dualsport: Scenic back roads both tar and dirt with unimproved roads and the occasional twotrack and easy singletrack trails thrown in. The emphasis is on hitting as many backroads and unmaintained twotrack sections as possible. Approximately 100 to 120 miles, Course will be available to download to GPS. Tough sections are on a rating system for riders to gauge difficulty and bypasses are provided. Both events will be gas on route (two strokers bring oil) with a bagged lunch to be served at a common location.
All motorcycles MUST be street registered and QUIET! If your bike does not pass OUR (strict) sound test you will not be allowed to ride. Note: stock a KTM 450 EXC (or equivalent) is loud and barely passes the NETRA sound test. If you have one, repack the silencer at the minimum! Or better yet get a DBDawg insert or equivalent to keep from being turned away.

Cancelled
The Red Fox Turkey Run, scheduled for August 24th, has been cancelled. If you remember, in 2004 the ride was shut down by local authorities for no clear reason, as permissions had been gotten and all motorcycles were street plated. The Pathfinders sued the town for violating their rights to free assembly and won in court last year. However, the judge hasn’t signed the decree yet, and without his signature, the show can’t go on. As a result, the event has been cancelled. Hopefully it will be back on the schedule next year!
